Giving Yourself Grace

Key Scripture: Lamentations 3:31–32 (NIV)

“Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love.”

Devotional

Grace is not only something we receive from God—it is something we are invited to extend to ourselves. Many of us live under quiet self-condemnation, believing we should “know better” or “be further along.”

God’s grace meets us in our humanity. He does not rush healing or demand perfection. He walks patiently with us, even through repeated lessons.

Giving yourself grace does not excuse sin or stagnation—it creates space for growth. Compassion nurtures change far better than shame ever could.

Today, God invites you to treat yourself with the same kindness He offers you daily.

Scripture Insight

God’s compassion flows from unfailing love, not disappointment.
