our purpose...

OUR PROJECTS

Our purpose is to serve as a beacon of hope and a resource hub for women, families, and children in need. We strive to meet practical needs, provide emotional and spiritual support, and create opportunities for growth in underserved communities.

Our History & Milestones

📌 2019 – The Beginning

After experiencing an ectopic pregnancy and the loss of her baby, our President & Founder, Corain Cash felt called by God to start a ministry where women could find support, encouragement, and the power of prayer. The Praying Wife began as a Facebook group and page, where women could uplift one another and share in their faith journeys.

📌 2020 – Virtual Meetings & Growth

As the world shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic, The Praying Wife expanded beyond social media, launching virtual prayer meetings and Bible studies. Women from across the United States and the Caribbean joined, creating a vibrant online community.

📌 2024 – Becoming an Organization

In 2024, The Praying Wife officially became an organization with a vision to expand its reach and impact. Though it remained largely inactive for a season, God stirred a fresh passion to build and grow the ministry once again.

📌 2025 – A Year of Expansion & Purpose

  • 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Status: The Praying Wife submitted its official application for nonprofit status, establishing itself as a faith-based ministry dedicated to service and outreach.
  • First Local Chapter (Kenya): The first in-person Praying Wife chapter was launched in Kenya, where women gather regularly to pray and grow together.
  • Mission Project in Uganda: The organization took a bold step into missions by funding a latrine construction project at a school in Eastern Uganda, ensuring better sanitation for students.

This is just the beginning—with faith, prayer, and dedicated partners, we are believing God for greater impact in the years to come!

“Testimonials are effective because they increase your conversion rates. What are the benefits? They build trust by acting as a third-party endorsement, triggering the conformity bias, also known as the bandwagon effect.”
