SMS Terms & Conditions

These SMS Terms and Conditions govern the text messaging program offered by The Praying Wife, Inc. By opting in to receive SMS messages from The Praying Wife, Inc., you agree to these terms.
1. Program Description
The Praying Wife, Inc. offers recurring informational and promotional SMS messages to individuals who voluntarily opt in to receive them.
Messages may include:
- Invitations to join The Praying Wife WhatsApp communities
- Prayer meeting and Bible study reminders
- Virtual and in-person group meeting reminders
- Ministry event and challenge notifications
- Schedule changes and important community updates
- New podcast episode announcements
- Devotional resources and ministry content
- Opportunities to participate in ministry programs or activities
The content you receive may depend on the communication preferences you select when opting in.
2. Consent to Receive Messages
You may opt in by entering your mobile telephone number through an authorized The Praying Wife, Inc. registration or subscription form and actively selecting the applicable unchecked SMS consent box.
By opting in, you authorize The Praying Wife, Inc. to send recurring text messages to the mobile number you provided.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of:
- Membership
- Participation in ministry programs
- Attendance at meetings or events
- Making a donation
- Making a purchase
You affirm that you are the subscriber or customary user of the telephone number provided and that you are authorized to consent to receive messages at that number.
3. Message Categories
You may be offered the opportunity to consent separately to the following types of messages:
Informational Messages
Informational messages may include community invitation links, meeting reminders, prayer and Bible study reminders, event information, schedule updates, and other requested ministry notifications.
Promotional Messages
Promotional messages may include podcast announcements, devotional resources, ministry campaigns, new programs, special events, fundraising opportunities, and other ministry-related promotional communications.
Your consent to one message category does not automatically require you to consent to the other category.
4. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies.
Recipients will generally receive approximately 2–6 messages per month, although additional messages may be sent around scheduled meetings, ministry events, challenges, campaigns, emergencies, or important schedule changes.
5. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier and wireless service plan.
The Praying Wife, Inc. does not charge a separate fee for participating in the SMS program, but your wireless carrier may charge you for sending or receiving text messages.
6. How to Opt Out
You may cancel SMS messages at any time by replying:
STOP
You may also use other clear language indicating that you no longer wish to receive text messages.
After opting out, you may receive one final confirmation message notifying you that your number has been unsubscribed. After that confirmation, you will no longer receive messages from that SMS program unless you opt in again.
Opting out of SMS messages does not automatically unsubscribe you from email, WhatsApp, social media, or other forms of communication from The Praying Wife, Inc.

For Canadian recipients, a valid mailing address may be displayed on this publicly accessible page when character limits make it impractical to include all identification information inside each SMS. The address should remain valid for at least 60 days after a message is sent.
8. Privacy
We respect your privacy.
Mobile telephone numbers, SMS consent records, and SMS opt-in information will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
We may provide limited information to service providers that help us operate and deliver the SMS program. Those providers may use the information only to perform services on behalf of The Praying Wife, Inc. and not for their own independent marketing purposes.

9. Message Delivery
Text message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your wireless carrier and network provider.
The Praying Wife, Inc. and participating wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed, undelivered, or misdirected messages caused by carrier availability, network issues, an inaccurate telephone number, device settings, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Not all mobile devices, carriers, or service plans may support every message or feature.
10. Changing Your Telephone Number
You are responsible for notifying The Praying Wife, Inc. or opting out before transferring, changing, or discontinuing the mobile telephone number enrolled in the SMS program.
This helps prevent messages from being delivered to someone who later receives your former telephone number.
11. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to participate in the SMS program.
12. Changes to These Terms
The Praying Wife, Inc. may update these SMS Terms periodically.
When changes are made, the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued participation in the SMS program after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
13. Termination of the Program
The Praying Wife, Inc. may suspend, modify, or discontinue all or part of the SMS program at any time.
We may also suspend messaging to a particular telephone number if we believe the number was entered without authorization, is no longer active, has generated repeated delivery failures, or is being used in violation of these terms.
