Delete Your Account & Data

We take your privacy seriously. If you’d like to delete your The Praying Wife app account and associated data, you can do it in‑app or by email request.

Option 1 — Delete inside the app (fastest)

  1. Open the app

  2. Go to Profile › Settings

  3. Tap Delete Account

  4. Confirm the prompt

Once confirmed, your account enters deletion and is permanently removed within 30 days (usually much sooner). You’ll be logged out immediately.

Option 2 — Request by email

Email support@theprayingwife.com with the subject “Delete My Account” and include:

  • Your full name (as shown in the app)

  • The email you use to sign in (Google or Facebook)

  • Optional: a brief note (“Please delete my account and all associated data.”)

We’ll reply to confirm and complete deletion within 30 days.

If you prefer, you may also request that only some of your data (e.g., posts, comments, or profile details) be deleted without deleting your entire account. Please specify this in your request email.

What gets deleted

  • Profile information (name, photo, bio)

  • Account identifiers and authentication linkages (Google/Facebook sign‑in)

  • Posts, comments, reactions, saved items

  • Private messages/conversations stored by us

  • App activity tied to your identity

What may be retained (and why)

  • Legal/anti‑abuse records: Limited logs needed to prevent fraud, ensure platform integrity, or comply with law.

  • Backups: Encrypted backups may include your data for up to 30 days after deletion, after which they are overwritten.

  • Anonymized analytics: Aggregated, non‑identifiable metrics (e.g., usage counts) that cannot be linked back to you.

Can I undo a deletion?

No. Once deletion is requested and processed, it’s irreversible.

Third‑party services we use

We use trusted providers to run the app securely (e.g., Google/Firebase for authentication and storage, and Facebook/Google for OAuth sign‑in). When we delete your account in our system, we also remove the links to those sign‑ins. Any residual data held by those third parties is governed by their own policies.

Children’s privacy

The app is intended for adults. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will promptly remove it.
