The Bereans were commended because they did not receive teaching carelessly. They listened eagerly, but they also searched the Scriptures daily. That balance matters. Spiritual maturity requires both openness and discernment.

God does not ask us to believe every message simply because it sounds spiritual or comes from a confident voice. He calls us back to the standard of His Word. The Bible protects us from deception when we learn to examine all things by truth.

Daily searching forms spiritual stability. It trains us to become women who know why we believe what we believe. That kind of grounding brings confidence without pride.

Today, make room to search the Scriptures for yourself—not just to hear truth secondhand, but to know it firsthand.

Prayer

Lord, make me a woman who loves Your Word enough to search it daily. Give me discernment, diligence, and a sincere love for truth. Let Scripture become my standard for what I receive and believe. Amen.
