Key Scripture: John 14:26 (NIV)
The Holy Spirit … will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
Devotional
We do not study Scripture alone. The Holy Spirit teaches, reminds, and illuminates truth to God’s people. He does not replace the work of reading and studying, but He helps us understand what we read.
This is good news when a passage feels difficult. You can pause and pray, trusting that the Spirit delights to lead you into truth. He opens blind spots, highlights what matters, and helps the Word move from page to heart.
The Spirit also reminds us of Scripture when we need it most. In prayer, in temptation, in conversation, and in trouble, He brings truth back to our minds. That is one reason hiding the Word in our hearts matters so much.
Today, invite the Holy Spirit into your time in the Word and trust Him to teach you.
Prayer
Holy Spirit, thank You for being my Helper and Teacher. Open my understanding as I read Scripture, remind me of truth when I need it, and lead me into a life that honors Jesus. Amen.
