Key Scripture: 2 Corinthians 1:20 (NIV)
No matter how many promises God has made, they are โYesโ in Christ.
Devotional
One powerful way to stand on the Word is to stand on the promises of God. In Christ, every promise finds its โYes.โ That means God is not unreliable, hesitant, or forgetful. What He has spoken remains sure.
Standing on promise is different from clinging to wishful thinking. We stand on what God has actually said. His promises strengthen hope, not fantasy. They call us into deeper trust in His character and timing.
When you pray the promises of God, your heart gains courage. You remember that the God who spoke is faithful, and what He begins He is able to complete.
Today, return to a promise from Scripture and let it anchor your faith again.
Prayer
Lord, thank You that Your promises are Yes in Christ. Strengthen my faith as I stand on what You have said. Help me trust Your timing, rest in Your faithfulness, and pray with confidence. Amen.
