Key Scripture: Psalm 1:2–3 (NIV)
Whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night.
Devotional
Meditation in Scripture is not emptying the mind; it is filling the mind with truth. The blessed person delights in God’s Word and returns to it again and again, allowing it to sink deep into the heart.
Meditation slows us down. It helps us move from quick reading to deep receiving. We linger with truth, turn it over in our thoughts, and let it shape the way we see ourselves, others, and God.
The result is fruitfulness and stability. Like a tree planted by water, the woman who meditates on the Word becomes nourished in hidden places and fruitful in visible ones.
Today, don’t rush past Scripture. Sit with one verse and let it stay with you.
Prayer
Father, teach me to delight in Your Word and meditate on it deeply. Let truth take root in me until it shapes my thoughts, nourishes my soul, and bears fruit in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
