God calls us not only to read His Word, but to handle it rightly. That means we approach Scripture with reverence, diligence, and a willingness to learn. Careless interpretation can lead to confusion, but careful study leads to wisdom.

Rightly dividing the Word requires patience. We slow down, pay attention to context, and seek to understand what God is actually saying instead of forcing the Bible to say what we want it to say. Humility is essential in Bible study.

This kind of study is not reserved for scholars only. Every believer can grow in rightly understanding Scripture. The goal is not to impress people with knowledge, but to honor God with truth.

Today, ask the Lord to make you both hungry and careful with His Word.

Lord, help me handle Your Word with accuracy and honor. Give me a teachable spirit, a disciplined mind, and a love for truth. Guard me from carelessness and lead me into deeper understanding. Amen.
