The goal of discipleship is not to make people permanently dependent on us.
Jesus commanded His followers to make disciples, people who know Him, obey Him, and help others do the same.
Healthy ministry equips people to pray, study Scripture, discern wisely, serve faithfully, and develop their own dependence on God.
You can celebrate when someone outgrows the level of support she once needed from you. Growth is not rejection; it is evidence that the investment is multiplying. Do not collect followers around your personality. Help form disciples around Jesus.

- Teach one person how to find an answer in Scripture.
- Invite someone you mentor to lead or serve.
- Celebrate another woman’s growth without feeling threatened.
Prayer
Jesus, help me make disciples who depend on You. Deliver me from needing to be needed. Teach me to equip, release, and celebrate others as they grow and multiply. Amen.
