Sent With His Presence

Key Scripture

Exodus 33:14

My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.

Devotional

God never sends us somewhere He refuses to accompany us.

Moses understood that the assignment was not enough without God’s presence. Direction without presence would leave him striving in his own strength.

It is possible to become so focused on doing something for God that we neglect being with God. Then the calling begins to feel heavy, rushed, and exhausting.

Sister, you are not being sent alone. The Holy Spirit is your wisdom, strength, comfort, and guide. You can pause, pray, and ask for His help in the middle of the assignment.

Let God’s presence become the way you move, not merely the place you return after you are tired. Go with Him, not ahead of Him.

Heart Check

Have you been attempting to fulfill a God-given assignment in your own strength?

Practice Today

  1. Pause before your next task and consciously invite God into it.
  2. Schedule ten quiet minutes with no agenda except being with Him.
  3. Repeat: “I am not sent alone.”

Prayer

Father, I do not want to move without Your presence. Keep me close to You as I serve, lead, work, and care for others. Teach me to depend on Your Spirit instead of carrying everything alone. Amen.
