Key Scripture: Nehemiah 2:18 (KJV)
Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work.
Devotional
Rebuilding with God is different than rebuilding with pride. It’s not about proving yourself—it’s about partnering with the One who restores, redeems, and rebuilds what has been broken.
Nehemiah rebuilt in the face of opposition. You may be rebuilding too—confidence, finances, trust, habits, marriage, or spiritual rhythms. The work can feel slow, but God strengthens hands that are surrendered.
Rebuilding requires faith and patience. It often starts with small, consistent obedience: one prayer, one boundary, one conversation, one step at a time.
Today, don’t despise small beginnings. God is with you in the rebuilding, and He will establish what you build with Him.
Scripture Insight
Nehemiah’s story shows rebuilding as spiritual work. God supplies courage and strength for ‘good work’ that honors Him.

Reflection: How might rebuilding feel different if you believed God was strengthening your hands every day?
Prayer: Lord, strengthen my hands for the work of rebuilding. Give me courage, patience, and wisdom. Help me build with humility and dependence on You. Establish what is good, heal what is broken, and guide me step by step. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
