Expanding God’s Territory

“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!’” — Isaiah 6:8

There is a world around us that desperately needs the hope, truth, and love of Jesus. There are people in our homes, workplaces, churches, schools, neighborhoods, and communities who need to know that God sees them and cares about what they are facing.

The question is not always whether God wants to reach them. The question is whether we are willing to allow Him to reach them through us.

Our theme for August is Expanding God’s Territory. This month is about becoming more intentional in how we represent Christ wherever God has placed us. It is about recognizing that every believer has been called to participate in the work of the Kingdom.

Jesus said in John 20:21, “As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” We are women who have been sent. We are sent into our homes. We are sent into our communities. We are sent into our workplaces. We are sent into the lives of the people God has entrusted to us.

The mission field is not always somewhere far away. Sometimes it is wherever your feet are standing today.

What to Expect This Month

Our weekly podcast episodes will be released every Wednesday, and our Monday morning prayer gatherings will continue each week at 7:00 AM ET.

August 14–18th – Rest & Renewal Challenge. Even as we answer the call to serve, pour out, and reach others, we must remember that God also invites us to rest in His presence and allow Him to renew our strength.

Encouragement for the Month

Sister, God can use your life. You may feel that you do not know enough, have enough influence, or possess the right personality. You may believe that someone else is more qualified, more confident, or more prepared. But God is not asking you to become someone else. He is asking you to surrender who you are to Him.

He can use your story. He can use your compassion. He can use your home. He can use your business, career, friendships, gifts, and experiences. He can even use the difficult seasons you have survived to help another woman believe that she can survive too.

Do not underestimate what God can accomplish through one obedient yes. You may never see the full impact of every prayer you pray, every seed you plant, or every act of love you offer. But when you allow the light of Christ to shine through your life, God’s Kingdom is being advanced.

May this be the month we stop waiting for the perfect opportunity and begin recognizing the opportunities God has already placed in front of us.

Prayer for the Month

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for calling me and allowing me to participate in the work of Your Kingdom. Give me a willing and obedient heart that responds, “Here I am. Send me.”

Open my eyes to the people and opportunities You have placed around me. Help me represent You well in my home, workplace, church, community, and every environment I enter.

Give me boldness to share the Gospel without shame and wisdom to know when and how to speak. Let my lifestyle reflect Your love, truth, compassion, and character.

Use my testimony to encourage others. Help me disciple the women You place in my life and teach them to walk faithfully in Your truth.

Remove fear, insecurity, distraction, and every excuse that has kept me from answering Your call. Remind me that I do not go in my own strength. Your Spirit goes with me, equips me, and gives me everything I need.

Send me where You want me to go. Use me however You desire. Let my life bring glory to Your name and help expand Your Kingdom on the earth.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
