Key Scripture
Proverbs 11:1 (KJV)
A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight.
Devotional
Sometimes integrity is tested in a moment no one else will notice. An incorrect charge, an exaggerated expense, an unearned credit, or a small misuse of someone else’s property can present an easy choice that carries a hidden cost.
Proverbs describes God’s concern for honest weights and measures. In everyday trade, a dishonest scale allowed someone to gain at another person’s expense. The Lord cares about fairness in ordinary transactions.
Our worship and our business habits belong in the same conversation. We cannot separate loving God from treating people honestly when we buy, sell, work, borrow, or report how resources were used.
Sister, integrity sometimes means correcting an error that benefits you. It may require an uncomfortable conversation or admitting that you handled something poorly. Those moments give you an opportunity to practice the truth you believe.
As you continue our shared Bible App plan, invite God to examine the details of your stewardship. A clear conscience grows through honest choices, including the quiet decision to do what is right when there is little chance of being caught.
