Devotional Thought
Unity is more than getting along, it’s agreeing with the heart of God. Jesus didn’t simply wish for us to like each other; He prayed we would be one so the world would believe (John 17). Unity in Christ isn’t sameness. It’s a beautiful harmony, different parts, one body; different gifts, one Spirit; different stories, one Savior.
When we walk in unity:
- Peace multiplies (Eph. 4:1–3)
- Power increases (Acts 2:1–4)
- Purpose clarifies (Phil. 2:1–4)
This month, let’s align our hearts, words, and actions with Jesus’ prayer. Ask: Where am I contributing to harmony? Where might I be fueling division? The Holy Spirit empowers us to choose humility, refuse gossip, forgive quickly, and love deeply, so our sisterhood, marriages, and communities reflect Christ.

A Simple Prayer for the Month
Father, make us one as You and the Son are one. Heal fractures, soften hearts, and align our words and actions with Your love. Teach us to walk in humility, forgive quickly, and protect the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Use our unity to point others to Jesus. Amen.
