Key Scripture
1 Corinthians 10:13 (KJV)
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
Devotional
Sister, as we begin November, remember that overcoming begins with dependence on God. We can be honest about temptation because His faithfulness gives us reason to seek help instead of pretending that we never struggle.
Paul reminds believers that temptation is a shared human experience and that God provides a way to endure it faithfully. The invitation is to trust Him and respond to the help He provides, even when obedience requires a difficult choice.
Sometimes the way of escape looks practical. We may need to leave a conversation, close an app, tell the truth, or call someone who will help us remain accountable. God’s provision often calls for our participation.
Being tempted does not mean you have already failed. What matters is how you respond when the invitation to sin appears. You can bring the struggle before the Lord and choose the next step that agrees with His Word.
Today also begins International Prayer Week, November 1โ7. As women unite in prayer, ask God to strengthen your heart in holiness. Begin this month willing to recognize the way of escape and take it.

Prayer
Father, thank You for Your faithfulness when I am tempted. Open my eyes to the help You provide and strengthen me to respond with obedience. As we gather in prayer this week, teach us to depend on You and walk in holiness. In Jesusโ name, amen.
