God’s Word may not always show us the entire journey at once, but it will always give us enough light for the next step. Scripture is a lamp, not a spotlight. It teaches us to walk by faith and obedience, one step at a time.

Many of us want clarity for the whole future, but God often gives direction in daily measures. As we stay close to His Word, we learn not only where to go, but how to go—with humility, wisdom, and peace.

The light of Scripture protects us from avoidable confusion. It warns us when we are drifting and guides us when we are uncertain. If we neglect the Word, we will likely walk in unnecessary darkness.

Today, ask the Lord to light your next step through His Word.

Prayer

Father, thank You for lighting my path through Scripture. Help me trust You for today’s direction and obey the light You give. Keep me from wandering and guide me with Your wisdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
