Key Scripture: 1 Peter 2:9 (NIV)
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession…
Devotional
One of the enemy’s most consistent tactics is attacking identity.
If he can make you question who you are, he can influence how you live. That is why so many spiritual battles revolve around insecurity, shame, comparison, rejection, or feelings of inadequacy.
We see this strategy even in Jesus’ temptation in the wilderness. Satan repeatedly challenged His identity: “If You are the Son of God…â€
The enemy still works the same way today.
He wants believers unsure of their value, calling, authority, and belonging because insecurity weakens confidence and creates instability.
But God’s Word speaks clearly: You are chosen. You are loved. You belong to Him.
Identity is not earned through performance. It is established through relationship with Christ.
The more grounded you become in who God says you are, the less vulnerable you become to the enemy’s lies.
Today, stop measuring your worth by emotions, failures, approval, or comparison. Let God’s truth define you instead.

Prayer
Father, anchor my identity in Your truth instead of my feelings or circumstances. Silence every lie that tells me I am not enough, unloved, forgotten, or unworthy. Help me walk confidently as Your daughter, secure in who You say I am. Strengthen me against comparison, insecurity, and shame. Let my identity remain rooted in Christ alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
