The Word of God is not passive information — it is a spiritual weapon.

When Jesus was tempted in the wilderness, He responded repeatedly with Scripture: “It is written…”

The enemy may argue with your feelings. He may attack your confidence. He may challenge your circumstances.

But truth silences lies.

That is why knowing Scripture matters so much. The Word strengthens discernment, renews the mind, and exposes deception.

Many believers own Bibles but rarely use Scripture actively in spiritual battle. Yet the Word is meant to be spoken, prayed, remembered, and applied.

The more familiar you become with God’s Word, the more spiritually prepared you become.

Today, do not treat Scripture casually. Let it become part of your daily defense and strength.

Prayer

Lord, help me treasure and use Your Word faithfully. Let Scripture become alive in my heart and strong in my spirit. Teach me to respond to fear, temptation, and discouragement with truth instead of emotion. Strengthen me through Your Word and help me remain rooted in it daily. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
