Key Scripture: Hebrews 10:36 (NIV)
You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.
Devotional
Many people want breakthrough quickly, but Scripture repeatedly connects victory with perseverance.
Endurance is not glamorous. It often looks quiet: continuing to trust, continuing to obey, continuing to pray, and continuing to stand.
The enemy hopes discouragement will eventually cause believers to quit before breakthrough comes.
But perseverance builds spiritual strength.
Every time you choose faithfulness instead of giving up, your roots grow deeper. Your dependence on God becomes stronger. Your spiritual maturity increases.
God’s promises are still true even when fulfillment takes time.
Do not let temporary discouragement cause you to abandon what God is building through perseverance.
Today, remember that endurance itself is part of spiritual victory.
