Here Am I: Send Me

Key Scripture

Isaiah 6:8

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

Devotional

There are moments when God is not asking us for a perfect plan; He is asking for a willing heart.

Isaiah’s response came from surrender. He did not begin by presenting his résumé, listing his strengths, or explaining everything he still needed to learn. He simply made himself available.

Many of us want God to explain the whole assignment before we say yes. But faith often begins with obedience before clarity. The details may come later, one step at a time.

Sister, God can use your voice, your story, your compassion, your home, your work, and even the places where you still feel weak. Your willingness matters more than your confidence.

Begin August with a simple prayer: “Lord, I am available.” You do not have to know where every road leads. You only need to trust the One who is sending you.

Heart Check

Where have you been waiting for complete clarity before giving God your yes?

Practice Today

  1. Write “Here am I. Send me” at the top of your journal page.
  2. Name one area of your life you are surrendering to God this month.
  3. Take one small step of obedience you have been delaying.

Prayer

Father, I make myself available to You. Quiet my excuses, strengthen my faith, and help me obey even when I do not know every detail. Use my life for Your glory and teach me to say yes with a willing heart. In Jesus’ name, amen.
