Key Scripture
1 Peter 4:10 (KJV)
As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
Devotional
We sometimes postpone serving because we are waiting for more resources, more confidence, or a season when everything in our lives feels settled. Meanwhile, there may be someone we can help with what is already available.
Peter calls believers to use their gifts in serving one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace. A steward cares for something entrusted to her and uses it according to the purpose of the one who gave it.
That means our gifts carry an invitation to love. They are not simply possessions to admire or abilities to save for a future version of our lives. They can become a blessing in the circumstances we have today.
You might offer a listening ear, help someone understand a Scripture passage, prepare a meal, or share a skill. Ordinary opportunities can help you discover how God has equipped you while meeting a genuine need.
Sister, begin with a responsible step that fits your present capacity. Ask God where your help is needed, make yourself available, and allow faithfulness in small opportunities to become part of the way you live.
