Key Scripture
Hebrews 13:5 (KJV)
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
Devotional
There is always something else we could buy, upgrade, or add to our lives. When we keep measuring our needs against what other people have, enough can begin to feel impossible to reach.
Hebrews connects contentment with God’s faithful presence. The assurance that He will not abandon His people gives us a foundation deeper than our possessions or our ability to keep up with someone else’s lifestyle.
Contentment does not prevent us from working toward responsible goals or acknowledging real needs. It helps us recognize when desire has become comparison and when a purchase is carrying expectations it cannot fulfill.
Sister, gratitude can interrupt the pressure to keep reaching for more. As we notice what is already useful, beautiful, and sufficient in our lives, we may discover room to save wisely, meet responsibilities, and share with others.
Tomorrow, our seven-day Bible App plan, Managing Time and Money Wisely by Life.church, begins. Prepare to read with an honest heart. Ask God to help you examine the habits shaping both your calendar and your finances.
