“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” – Mark 11:22-24

Devotional

This week we are talking about faith that prays boldly. And sister, I want us to be honest: sometimes we stop praying boldly because we have been disappointed before. We prayed and waited. We asked and cried. We believed and did not see what we expected. So without even realizing it, our prayers became smaller, safer, and more guarded.

But Jesus invites us back to faith. He says, “Have faith in God,” and then He teaches us to pray with belief. That tells us bold prayer is not rooted in arrogance. It is rooted in confidence in God.

We are not praying to a limited God. We are not praying to a God who is intimidated by our need. We are not praying to a God who looks at our mountain and wonders what to do. We are praying to the God who created the heavens and the earth. The God who heals, restores, provides, delivers, saves, and makes ways where there seem to be none.

Bold prayer does not mean we control God. It means we trust Him enough to bring Him what feels impossible. It means we refuse to let fear edit every prayer before it leaves our mouths. It means we pray according to His Word, submit to His will, and believe in His power.

Today, bring the impossible place to God again. Your marriage. Your child. Your healing. Your provision. Your purpose. Your heart. Your family. Bring the thing that feels too big, too delayed, too broken, or too far gone.

God can handle the mountain.

Do not shrink your prayers to match your fear. Let faith rise, and pray to the God of the impossible.

Prayer

Father, teach me to pray boldly again. Heal the places where disappointment has made me afraid to ask. I bring every impossible situation to You and choose to trust Your power, wisdom, and will. In Jesus’ name, amen.
