Anchored in Sound Doctrine

Key Scripture: Titus 2:1 (NIV)

You, however, must teach what is appropriate to sound doctrine.

Devotional

Sound doctrine is not cold or lifeless; it is healthy truth. It keeps believers stable, protects the church, and leads to godly living. When doctrine is neglected, confusion and compromise often follow.

Many people want encouragement without instruction, but Scripture gives us both. Healthy teaching nourishes the soul because it reveals God as He truly is. It keeps us from building our faith on preference instead of revelation.

Anchoring yourself in sound doctrine will not make you rigid—it will make you rooted. And rooted believers are able to grow, serve, and endure with maturity.

Today, thank God for healthy truth and ask Him to deepen your love for it.

Prayer

Father, anchor me in sound doctrine. Help me love healthy truth, reject confusion, and grow in spiritual maturity. Let what I believe shape the way I live and the way I serve others. Amen.
