Key Scripture: Proverbs 4:23 (NIV)
Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.
Devotional
Your heart is deeply connected to spiritual warfare.
What enters your heart eventually influences your thoughts, emotions, decisions, and actions. That is why Scripture tells us to guard it carefully.
The enemy often works slowly through offense, bitterness, envy, temptation, resentment, or compromise. Small unchecked issues can eventually create larger spiritual weakness.
Guarding your heart does not mean becoming cold or closed off. It means becoming intentional about what you allow to shape you.
What you consistently consume matters. What you repeatedly entertain matters. What you dwell on matters.
Healthy spiritual boundaries protect peace, clarity, and intimacy with God.
Today, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal anything unhealthy that has quietly been settling into your heart.

Prayer
Lord, help me guard my heart carefully. Remove anything that is producing spiritual heaviness, compromise, bitterness, or distraction within me. Teach me to protect my peace and remain sensitive to Your voice. Purify my heart and help me reflect Your character in every area of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
