Key Scripture
Proverbs 28:13 (KJV)
He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
Devotional
Looking closely at our stewardship may reveal choices we regret. We might see waste, dishonesty, neglected responsibilities, or promises we made without considering their impact on others.
Proverbs reminds us that concealing sin keeps us from the mercy found in confession and turning away from it. God invites us to face what is wrong rather than spending our energy protecting an appearance.
Sister, regret can become a place where you begin responding differently. Bring your choices before the Lord honestly, receive His mercy, and consider what responsibility you need to take for the consequences.
Correction may include changing a habit, asking forgiveness, returning what belongs to someone else, or seeking help from a trustworthy person. Some situations take time to repair, but a truthful first step matters.
You do not have to remain trapped in the pattern you have recognized. Ask God for wisdom and practical support, then take the next responsible action. His mercy gives you reason to move forward with humility, gratitude, and a willingness to change.
