Keep Stewarding What God Has Given

Key Scripture

1 Corinthians 4:2 (KJV)

Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

Devotional

Sisters, as we close October, let us remember that Managing Kingdom Resources continues in the choices we make tomorrow. The lessons of this month can become habits that shape how we love, work, give, and serve.

Paul reminds us that stewards are required to be faithful. Our response to what God has entrusted to us matters, even when the responsibility feels ordinary or the progress seems slow.

Take a moment to notice what has changed. Perhaps you are protecting time for prayer, using a gift you once overlooked, paying closer attention to spending, or following through more carefully on your commitments.

There may also be areas where you still need support and growth. Bring those honestly before the Lord. You can continue learning while practicing one faithful step at a time, depending on His grace and seeking wise help where needed.

As we prepare for International Prayer Week, November 1–7, consider how to make room for prayer and encouragement. Carry this month’s stewardship into the coming week by offering your attention, gifts, and willing heart to the Lord. May our everyday choices reflect our desire to honor Him.

Heart Check

What stewardship habit will I carry forward, and where do I still need God’s help?

Practice Today

  1. Write down one lesson from October and one habit to continue.
  2. Pray over an area that still needs growth.
  3. Choose a time to pray during International Prayer Week, November 1–7.

Prayer

Father, thank You for what You have taught us this month. Help us remain faithful with our time, gifts, finances, and responsibilities. Keep shaping our hearts, and prepare us to seek You together as we enter a new month. In Jesus’ name, amen.
